The Sanctuary Concerts, the premier acoustic-music venue in suburban New Jersey, is delighted to present an intimate “kitchen concert” featuring popular folk/pop duo The Kennedys.  The concert takes place in a 100-seat cozy room and dinner is provided with the cost of admission (pot luck sharing is also encouraged).     

Pete and Maura Kennedy have been creating "gorgeous boy-girl harmonies and catchy tunes" (Entertainment Weekly) since they met as members of Nanci Griffith's band in 1992. Over those years, the couple (now married), have been remarkable in their virtuosity and their prolific creative output.

Pete and Maura's tight harmonies, their chemistry, and their unashamedly idealistic outlook have brought them to venues ranging from the prestigious Newport, Falcon Ridge and Kate Wolf music festivals to the most intimate house concerts.  The Sanctuary is catching them on a break from touring with Nanci Griffith.  

As always, refreshments are included in the price of admission and there is plenty of free parking.
