We are very much looking forward to greeting everyone at the double feature screenings of Nora Jacobson's films Delivered Vacant and the Hoboken Waterfront

 

Many people are familiar with the documentary, Delivered Vacant, that chronicles a dark time of gentrification in Hoboken. Many, however, are probably unfamiliar with Nora Jacobson's unreleased film, the Hoboken Waterfront footage that chronicles how a citizens' group fought to protect the Hoboken Waterfront from over development through referendum. This vignette has never been released and only screened once. The Hoboken Waterfront footage will screen first followed by comments from Former Councilman Joe Della Fave, representatives of Hoboken Fair Housing Association and a short audience participation Q&A followed by the screening of Delivered Vacant. This evening is a fundraiser of the Hoboken Fair Housing Association.
