Dine Around at Laico's to "Take a Bite out of Cancer" February 5
Laico’s Restaurant, located at 67 Terhune Avenue in Jersey City, New Jersey will be host to the “Take a Bite Out of Cancer” dine around campaign, donating a portion of the proceeds from lunch, dinner, or take-out on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 to the Madeline Fiadini LoRe Foundation for Cancer Prevention.
Reservations are suggested and may be made by calling 201-434-4115.
The Dine Around event at Laico’s with the members and friends of the Foundation will support the initiative that provides necessary cancer screenings to an underserved population.
Laico’s is a rare authentic Italian restaurant that opened in 1972 and has continued to maintain its tradition of fine food, impeccable service, and dedication to tradition, using only the freshest ingredients and time-honored recipes.
The mission of the Foundation is to make cancer prevention programs and to grant access to the test and/or screening necessary for individuals who may otherwise be denied due to lack of sufficient medial coverage and available funds. The free screenings/tests include mammography, colonoscopy and PSA.
There are no restrictions other than completing the application process that ensures that the applicant is not covered under any insurance. A prescription for the requested screening is also required. Visit our website for more information. We offer services to anyone in the surrounding areas who can access the hospitals that have partnered with us: Jersey City Medical Center, Bayonne Medical Center, and Hoboken Medical Center.
