Women rule the night May 8th as the monthly Shut Up & Laugh comedy show features an all-female line-up of great comics - including Debbie Bazza, Regina DeCicco, and Rachael Parenta. Jersey City's own Raquel D'Apice is hosting. Token male Trix the Magician will warm up the pre-show crowd with amazing slight-of-hand magic and card tricks.

An open mike will follow the booked performers. Shut Up & Laugh is held at Lamp Post the second Tuesday of the month, September through June. The show is free, though donations to the performers are accepted. Lamp Post has drink specials all night and serves food until 10.
