The prices are low, the food is fresh and the menu is diverse at the new Five Burro Tacos in North Bergen. Even the array of beverages is unique and tasty. To call Five Burro a taco place is to be entirely too modest. Owner Jim Switzenberg, who graduated at the top of his class from the Culinary Institute of America nine years ago, along with chef Jose Luis Martinez, whip up amazing burritos, tostados (corn tortillas with refried beans), salads and enchiladas, all with fresh fillings: roast chicken, grilled steak, chorizo (sausage) and pork mole. (There is no ground beef; they use the shredded steak instead.) Switzenberg, who now lives in West New York, has cooked in kitchens across the country and developed a love for the authentic Mexican food served in the west. Believing the traditional cuisine was not available in the east, he brought his assistant chef from his most recent job, at the Time Caf
