We got some last-minute entries over last weekend to include in our contest. We printed out all the information, put them all together with the entries we've gotten so far, and randomly chose a first and second place winner from the shuffled pile. Besides the random drawing, we also picked a "most creative" winner.

Chosen first as the first-place winner in our drawing was couple John and Lisa Brissette, who vacationed in Hawaii "while keeping up with the news from Hoboken." Their photo ran two weeks ago. They won two tickets to the critically acclaimed, Tony award-winning Broadway musical whodunit "Curtains," starring David Hyde Pierce and Debra Monk, as well as two tickets to Disney's "High School Musical" on ice, and Reporter souvenirs.

Second place drawing winner Cindy Tavlin, who sent in photos of her son Will Tavlin of Hoboken on the Golden Gate Bridge, wins two tickets to "Curtains" and two to "High School Musical" on ice.

The most creative winners, Jose and Grisel Castanon, won two tickets to the "Gazillion Bubble Show" in New York, as well as a Hudson Reporter hat and other Reporter goodies. They sent a group of photos of their 12-day vacation in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, with the North Bergen Reporter, including one of the paper in the sand with a heart around it that said "#1." We have great readers!

If you didn't see yours in here yet, don't worry - we're getting a lot of them. They will all be published over the next few weeks. But make sure you put Reporter on Vacation in the subject head, or it will be lost in the shuffle.

We hope to run the contest again next year. Please keep enjoying these photos, please stay involved in your community, and enjoy your future vacations!
