New Jersey Symphony Orchestra returns to Pier A Park Thursday

HOBOKEN AND BEYOND -- The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra will return to Pier A Park for a free concert Thursday, June 28 at 7:30 p.m.

The City Council recently authorized a $45,000 contract to book the orchestra, which provides more than 250 performances annually and features 60 performers.

According to a release provided by the city, the concert will be led by conductor Emil de Cou and will feature music from the stage and screen. Guests are invited to bring a blanket or low back chair.
