NORTH BERGEN AND BEYOND – The body of Cesar Espatal, 31, of Fairview was found in the lake that is located in James Braddock North Hudson Park at 6:30 a.m. Monday morning.
He was spotted by pedestrians. North Bergen police, Hudson County sheriff's officers and North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue members were called. His body was pulled in by firefighters who used a raft.
First Assistant Prosecutor Guy Gregory confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and said the autopsy is still pending.
“It’s an unfortunate occurrence,” said Gregory.
