To the Editor:
The Concerned Citizens of Bayonne held the organization’s annual Christmas party on Dec. 12 at the Catholic War Veterans Post 1612. The CCB members celebrated in a very relaxed atmosphere with great company, fabulous food and service, and great music. Many thanks to Vincent Russotto, Joe Colabraro, Frank Polera, and all of the CWV veterans and members who always go that extra mile to make sure everything is perfect – and it was! We receive the same great service for our monthly meetings and other events we hold at the Post. Thanks also to our waitresses, Patty and Christina, and to DJ Bob.

The members also celebrated the season by bring toys that were donated to the Marine Corps League under Commander Lou Giovanni for Toys for Tots. Thank you to Carol Bednarski, Jean Connolly, and Pat Pirozzi-Polera for chairing the toy drive for CCB.

Special thanks to Jerry Kelly who made and donated the table centerpieces (ceramic Christmas trees), and to Carol Kochanski for all of her help with the party and for supplying the favors (“Santa Kisses”).

It was a wonderful evening – a great way to start the holiday season. Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all!
