Both visits come just prior to a critical Board of Education election, to be held Tuesday.
One issue in the election is the fact that the state Department of Education released a damning report last year blasting Roque's alleged political influence in the school system.
Visits by federal officials could serve as an election ploy to remind voting public of the allegations against the Roque Administration.
Freeholder Jose Munoz, who has been a leading critic of Roque and openly backing an anti-Roque slate, said he has had problems getting mailed election materials into public housing.
