JERSEY CITY - The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration will hold a meeting for businesses that were affected recently by Hurricane Sandy. Representatives from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority will also be present at the meeting.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. at City Hall, at 280 Grove St., Jersey City.

Business owners will be able to lean about ways they can: get access to microloans, grants, and lines of credit to rebuild their businesses; apply for emergency funds to hire temp workers; receive or offer unemployment compensation; access business supplies (phones, FAX machines, copiers, etc.) until they are fully operational again.

The Small Business Administration has opened a Business Disaster Recovery Center in New Jersey City University's Small Business Development Center at 285 West Side Ave, Suites 189-191. The center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
