HUDSON COUNTY -- Now that you're back from summer vacation, you need to spice up your life. Pick up the Hudson Reporter newspapers and learn all about the inner workings of your town, for instance:

-In Jersey City, the new school superintendent speaks out.

-In Hoboken, do you want 1,155 new units of housing near the city's southern border, or 475? Plus, new questions about an old political controversy.

-In North Bergen, the DPW director pleaded guilty to directing town workers to do his chores on city time, including putting up Christmas lights. Sometimes these workers even got overtime.

There's much more in Weehawken, West New York, Union City, Bayonne, and Guttenberg, so keep watching your stoop for the print edition, or see hudsonreporter.com starting Sunday for the same stories.

Will Beth Mason have another half page ad in the Hoboken Reporter this week ?

Did she donated the ad space to a BOE candidate last week ?

Looks like half page ad for the Frank Raia, the Castellanos and the Russos backed BOE slate has and attack ad this week in the space that the Mason's usually buy each week in the Hoboken Reporter.
