HUDSON COUNTY -- Outside of New York, few towns were affected by Sept. 11, 2001 as much as those in Hudson County, New Jersey. Several towns held Sept. 11 observances on Wednesday. Pictured: Observances on the waterfronts in Hoboken and Jersey City.

Hoboken does not have a real memorial to those fifty plus from out small city who died that day because for City Council members (Castellano, Mason, Russo and Occhipinti) decided it was more important to play politics than do the right thing and approve the memorial
