JERSEY CITY – The body of a man was found hanging from a tree in Jersey City’s Lafayette Park on Communipaw Avenue this morning shortly after 8 a.m. The Prosecutor’s Office was called to the scene at around 8:30, as were staff from Jersey City Medical Center, affording to Gene Rubino, spokesman for the Hudson County Prosecutor.

The man, who appeared to be in his sixties and who was found hanging from rope, was pronounced dead at the scene.
