WEST NEW YORK -- Newly elected Mayor Felix Roque and some of his slate members and a crowd of supporters opposed the agenda of the meeting of the West New York Board of Education Monday night, saying it contained the appointments of cronies of outgoing Mayor Sal Vega.

The agenda included the appointment of Janet Passante and Daniel Ortega to the board. Cosmo Cirillo was re-elected board president and Ortega was voted in as vice-president. Ortega was a staffer for Vega's campaign.

The video is HERE.
