A funeral mass was offered June 26 at Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach for Kevin John Cerruti. A longtime resident of Long Branch and native of Jersey City, he died June 22 of a massive heart attack. He was 60 years young. Kevin was born, one of two fraternal twin boys, in Jersey City's Margaret Hague Hospital on May 20, 1953, to Doris and Louis Cerruti. He attended St. Aedan's Grammar School, Hudson Catholic High School and St. Peter's College. He achieved his greatest professional success as a Wall Street stockbroker. He was an avid fan of Bruce Springstein, the NY Rangers and the San Francisco and NY Giants. His greatest role was that of father to his three children: Maegan, Scotty and Kevin. Kevin was fun-loving, smart and a superb athlete. With his kind and generous spirit, he was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. He is survived by his mother, Doris Watson Cerruti; his former wife and mother of his children, Cindy Lapierre; his children, Maegan 19, Scotty 15 and Kevin 12; his twin brother Keith Cerruti, sisters Debbie, Pam and Dorie Cerruti and their families. Services arranged by the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, Long Branch.
