NORTH BERGEN – On Friday at 8:35 a.m. a vehicle collided into the Hing Lung Restaurant, located on the corner of 76th Street and Tonnelle Ave. in North Bergen, police said.

According to Detective Frank Mena, personnel from Hackensack University Medical Center believe the gentleman who crashed his car into the Chinese restaurant suffered a seizure. Detective Mena said the driver lost control of the vehicle, hopped over the median, struck the traffic light, and finally crashed into the restaurant. There were no injuries reported within the restaurant, although the driver sustained unspecified internal injuries.

Mena said the hospital staff were running tests on the driver to determine his injuries. He is in stable condition at this time.
