CarePoint Health Supports Holi Hai Festival

Hudson County, New Jersey (April, 2014) –CarePoint Health was proud to be a key sponsor for the sixth annual Holi Hai festival held in Jersey City on March 22, 2014. Holi Hai, known as the festival of colors, is a traditional celebration of Indian and Hindu culture. Over 2,000 people attended the event at the Owen Grundy Pier at Exchange Place, including the Indian Ambassador to New York, several Assemblymen and community leaders. Organizers from the Surati for Performing Arts, a nonprofit entertainment company, dubbed the event a huge success. CarePoint Health’s sponsorship is indicative the organization’s ongoing commitment to the Indian population of Hudson County and the communities served by Bayonne Medical Center, Christ Hospital and Hoboken University Medical Center.

Surati is a performing arts organization and entertainment company based in Jersey City whose mission is to promote Indian art and culture, educate and enrich the community primarily through dance, music and drama. Surati brings to its audience quality stage performances, classes, events, educational projects, lectures and workshops.
