The Hoboken Housing Authority celebrated Mother’s Day by hosting luncheons at its senior citizen buildings. Residents of Fox Hill, Monroe and Adams Gardens were treated to salad, roasted chicken and pasta. First Investors and United Healthcare donated dessert. Residents listened for their numbers as Healthfirst raffled off baskets. All the moms enjoyed a nice luncheon while visiting with friends and neighbors.
“It’s so important that we all celebrate the amazing women who work so hard and care so much for us,” Carmelo Garcia, executive director.
