The Secaucus Social Services Department, on behalf of Mayor Gonnelli and the Town Council would like to thank everyone who so generously donated to Social Services and the Secaucus Emergency Food Pantry during the holiday season, so we could help our less fortunate families. To the many residents who were generous beyond belief, we send our heartfelt thanks and blessings.
We would like to acknowledge our appreciation for the cornucopia of food and gifts: K & S Social Club; the Town of Secaucus employees; McKeever family; Vision Media; Olive Garden and the Ridgefield Park Webelos Pack 1, Den 4; PSE&G; the Knights of Columbus and parishioners of Immaculate Conception Church; the teachers at Clarendon and Huber Street Schools; the students and faculty at the Secaucus Middle and High Schools, Engine Company No.1; Century 21 Gold; The Red Hat Society; the congregation of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Dom Arcuri, the Secaucus Events Committee, the Secaucus Emergency Fund Committee and SBI.
A very special thank you to the Secaucus PBA for their donation of toys and for helping “Santa” deliver the gifts and Kings Kitchen for preparing the fabulous Christmas dinner that was delivered by the Mayor and Town Council.
The staff of the Social Services Department and Senior Center deserve a round of applause for their hard work and help during this hectic time of year; Linda Potente, Chuck Gasser, Lisa & Kelsey Snedeker, Judy Kennelly, Maryann Formisano, Mike Williams, and Florence Tarantino. Everything would not have been completed without your assistance.
As usual, Secaucus residents and civic organizations have displayed remarkable philanthropy for the distressed families in our community. We are truly appreciative for your support and wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year.
