I would like to briefly recount an experience I had last weekend in Hoboken that others might like to have as well. I met Tom Foley, City Council candidate for the 6th Ward and his wife as they were out campaigning. This was actually the second time I've met and spoken with Tom; the first was at the Library fundraiser a month or so ago. I was delighted to find that in the interim Tom had researched the library and had thoughts about how it could become an even more critical 6th Ward and City asset.
While the library is certainly important it is this thoughtful approach to the issues that I find refreshing and important, especially as a changing City Council begins its work. Tom definitely listens, and he and his family are active participants in our ward and our larger community.
Please talk with Tom, and I think you will vote for him too.
