Classic jumped out to a 3-0 lead in a first inning rally sparked by Jessica Van Sant's two-run single and Nikko Sanchez' RBI grounder.
Kuhl's came back with two runs in the second inning when Deczynski's single scored Nicco Chiaravalloti and Raul Gonzalez. Kuhl's then took the lead in the fourth inning on an RBI walk by Aiden Rosario and a two-run single by Nick Rodriguez.
Kuhl's increased its lead to 7-3 in the fifth on singles by Julian Perez and Deczynski, sandwiched around an RBI grounder by Isiah Suren.
Classic mounted a sixth inning rally on hits by Randy Leonardo, Braden Dunlap and Van Sant. But Kuhl's held on for the win when Aidin Milachouski struck out the final batter with the bases loaded for the save.
Brad Deczynski was the winner pitcher for Kuhl's, hurling two scoreless innings as he struck out five batters and had flawless control. Rodriguez and Perez also pitched for Kuhl's.
For Classic, Leonardo, Dunlap, and Jack Attisano did the pitching.
Milachouski turned in the defensive gem of the game when he gunned down a runner trying to steal second to help stop a Classic rally in the fifth inning.
The win raised Kuhl's record to 2-1, while Classic fell to 2-1.
