Funeral services were held Feb. 24 for Richard LaDage “Tank,” 63, of Saddle Brook, formerly of Hoboken. He passed away suddenly at his residence on Feb. 20. A retired battalion chief of the Hoboken Fire Department, Mr. LaDage became a fireman in 1977, was appointed battalion chief in 2002 and retired in 2008. He was a member of the Retired Fireman’s Benevolent Association. Prior to becoming a firefighter he was employed with the Hoboken Post Office for 10 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Elly and Andries LaDage, and two sisters Johanna and Nancy LaDage. He also leaves to mourn him an aunt, Nancy Bono’ his nieces Kelly Anne Bello and her husband George, and Stacey Marchesani and her husband Patrick and their children who were a great joy in his life, Devin, Sage, Phoenix, Ella, Slade, and Sloan. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
