Funeral services took place Nov. 25 for Eleanor “Chickie” Lorenz, 90. She passed away Nov. 20 in Secaucus. Eleanor was born in West Hoboken, now Union City, to Charles and Amelia (Cosinelli) Hanna and has resided in Secaucus for over fifty years, previously of Digman’s Ferry, Pa. She had been employed as an embroidery worker for Floriani’s in Secaucus for 20 years, retiring in 1977. While in PA, she was a member of the American Legion and Senior Citizens Club. She was predeceased by her husband Emil E. Lorenz in 2005. Surviving Eleanor are her daughter, Berrty Richterich of Secaucus and a son, Richard Lorenz and his wife Rosemary of Lyndhurst; a sister, Helen Calderone of Jersey City; four grandchildren, Brian and Mandi Lorenz, Edward Richterich and Erin Murphy; five great-grandchildren, Emma Marie Murphy, Michael Edward Murphy, Savanna Rose Richterich, Sierra Skye Richterich and Evan Isaac Cano. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
