Funeral services were held June 14 for Joan Marie Lucid, 58, of Denville. She passed away June 12th at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clare’s Hospital, Dover, following a short illness. Joan was born in Hoboken and has been a resident of Denville since 1995. Formerly of Jersey City, she worked as a teacher for the Jersey City Board of Education. She loved baking, gardening, shopping and spending time with her grandkids. Survived by two sons Jeremy and his wife Lauren and Keith and his wife Catherine; five grandchildren Emalee, Julia, David, James, and Aubrey. Also survived by her brother Raymond Lindsley and his wife Kathleen; sister in law Irene Lindsley; many nieces, nephews, and friends including Michelle Bradley. Predeceased by her husband James in 2008 and her brother William in 2011. Services arranged by the Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph.
