A funeral mass was offered June 18 at St. Aloysius Church, Jersey City, for Dennis J. Mulrooney, 68. He died June 13 at Bayonne Medical Center. A lifelong Jersey City resident, the son of the late Helen Mulrooney, he was a custodial engineer for the United States Postal Service in Kearny for 15 years. He retired five years ago. Dennis was a U.S. Army veteran of Viet Nam. He was an avid fisherman who was interested in hot rod cars. He built a 1966 Chevelle, which is still in existence. Dennis was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 266, Jersey City and the American Legion. He was the husband of Joan Beni Mulrooney and father of Sean E. Mulrooney. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
