With under two minutes remaining; the Bears stretched their lead to 26-18 as Michael Egan raced goal to goal for a TD. Trailing by 8, the Jets quickly answered with a coast to coast TD rumble by Alanis Concepcion and after Alejandro Cifuentes zipped around the defense for the two point conversion, tfhe Bears and Jets stood at 26 all and headed for this season’s first overtime bout. The Jets took the ball first but went three and out to give the Bears a chance for a big win. After missing the endzone on two downs, the Bears struck paydirt on their last gasp as Miceli launched a TD dart to Ryan Griffin as the Bears captured a 32-26 overtime victory. A special mention must be given to the Bears’ Anthony Fraser who has become this season’s most improved player.
