A mass of Christian burial was offered Aug. 20 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Anna Navatta, 89, of Hoboken. She passed away Aug. 16 at Hamilton Park Health Care Facility, in Jersey City. Born in Hoboken, Anna worked in New York City as a seamstress for many years. A strong and independent woman, Anna was a member of the Lady’s Guild for the Monte san Giacomo Club in Hoboken. Surviving is a cousin, Marie Totara, and a host of other cousins. Anna was predeceased by her brothers Peter, Frank, Jack and his wife Francis Navatta, four sisters Mary, Mildred, Dolly, and Jean, a niece Mary Ann Lisa, and a cousin Thomas Loungo.
