Judge Tomasin lives with his lovely wife Ruth of 55 years, and they have three sons; Davis who is a Washington D.C. government employee; Neal who is an Engineer; and Gordon who is now deceased. Their pride and joy are grandchildren Ryan, a grandson, and Kendall, a granddaughter! Now basically semi-retired as an attorney, Judge Tomasin still however helps veterans and senior citizens and Shut-Ins by performing legal services for them, such as "wills," etc. and makes "house calls" where and when necessary!
Judge Tomasin, you are truly a servant of, by and for the people and you practice it every day from your local and personal history. Surely you are a "treasure" to our community. Keep up and continue your great unselfish work. ALL THE BEST!!!...
Former North Bergen Mayor Peter Mocco tells us that he is still active with his love of senior citizens, for as a real estate developer, in his present avocation, he develops and builds senior citizen housing, and this gives him good feelings and joy that he is still contributing to this cause in some way! Great going Mr. Mocco...
Anna and Frank Vescovo of Weehawken recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The Vescovos were joined by their children; Arthur, Anthony and Anna Marie. Their pride-and-joy grandchildren also celebrated with grandpa and grandma, and the are: Rachel, Eric, Emma, Anthony II and Aba. May there be many more celebrations to come and Best Wishes!...
The "Over-The-Hill-Gang" surfaced and tells us who they are! These guys and a gal create humor every Friday morning at the Four Star Diner in Union City. We previously knew that they were basically retired policemen and postal workers from Union City, West New York and North Bergen, and now they are "unmasked!" Ron Jeffers is their spokesman, and is a retired Union City policeman along with: Otto Sittman, Charles Schwartz, Al Cerulli, Pete Cardinali, Joe Blasco, Bill Provost, Jack Neiman, Bob Maggia, Richie Steinel, Lenny Kaufman, Ron Karabotsas, Mike Repka, Wade Almond. From North Bergen they are: Frank Pinto and Smokey Fortunato. From West New York its John Halpin. The retired postal workers from Union City are: Eddie Sonvico and Richie Clerici. Their legal advisor is Union City's legendary athlete Nicholas Mastorelli, and their culinary consultant is the "lovely" Marge Patnaude, from the 4-Star Diner! Humor and java, and plenty of fun times. Keep up the laughter!!!...
Former State Assemblyman Paul Cuprowski recently told us that he has recuperated from illness of a year ago and has been back at his full-time position in Hudson County government.
