Dear Gov. Corzine:

It has come to my attention that the communities who have regionalized their Fire Dept., North Bergen, Weehawken, Union City, West New York and Guttenberg will no longer be entitled to receive our tax relief called REAP. This item affords us a tax credit up to $500.

Governor, times are tough for the unemployed and the renters; times are tough on the homeowners, too. Are you calling homeowners the “rich”?

This change that has come to Washington seems like more of the same we have here in New Jersey. We need help Governor. If you take away this tax credit, we are going to see our taxes rise. But I guess living in Hoboken you don’t have too much sympathy for us folks living up north.

Fed up with Trenton
