Jharna Balani of Secaucus received a B.A. from Lasell College, Newton, Mass., during commencement exercises on May 19. Balani majored in fashion design and production.

Lasell is an independent coeducational college emphasizing the integration of professional and liberal arts programs. The school is situated on a 50-acre campus eight miles from downtown Boston.
