A funeral liturgy was held June 19 at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus, for Patrick E. Scura Sr., 98, of Secaucus. He passed away June 14 at Meadowlands Hospital, Secaucus. Born in Jersey City, he resided there until moving to Secaucus in 1995. Mr. Scura worked in the Navy ship yards in Kearny for five years as a blueprint draftsman and then was an inventory manager for Mallinkrodt Industries for 35 years retiring in 1981. Patrick was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories Church in Jersey City and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Senior Citizens in Jersey City and was an avid Yankee fan. Patrick was predeceased by his wife Louise A. (Lefante) Scura in 1998, a son, Joseph J. Scura in 1995, four brothers and a sister. Surviving are three sons Patrick E. Scura Jr and his wife Patricia of Mahwah, Jack L. Scura of Basking Ridge, Michael V. Scura and his wife Deborah of Cherry Hill, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
