Dear Editor:
I want to commend Hoboken City Council members Mason, Castellano, Russo, and Occhipinti for helping to obtain more give backs from the buyer of Hoboken University Medical Center. I am very pleased to see there will be a sports medicine program, which will be helpful for Hoboken’s many young athletes. In addition, I am very pleased there will be important health programs such as a women’s facility and Alzheimer’s care unit. This hospital will serve residents of all ages well. I look forward to the great contribution Hoboken University Medical Center will make to our City in the future.

Will the Hudson Reporter play along or will their be a story on MORTe's so called side deal coming?
Their political operation was printed here without any follow up or other view involved on the hospital sale: the Hospital Authority, the mayor's office, other City Council members or Holdco.
Now this little bit of Beth Mason deception, all par for the course.
Once again a little butter for everyone's bread, this time another person on the Beth Mason payroll.
To have somone on Mrs. Mason staff and the sister in law of her political ally Carmelo Garcia changes how one views what was written.
Much if not all of the givebacks Mrs. Mason and the City Council minority are claiming credit were already part of the official HUMC agreement.
Understandably they needed some political cover to reverse their extreme opposition to the sale.
Many people did much to make the sale of Hoboken Hospital happen and unfortunately a minority worked hard to sabotage it.
Did the HR edit that portion from the letter?
I'm sure there's an explanation for this lack of transparency. Maybe Garcia's boss can explain.

They probably won't be around to thank you for writing this, so you'll have to accept whatever thanks they gave you when they told you to write it.
They'll be busy lawyering up for the foreseeable future. Something about the FBI...
