I’d like to share this letter to recognize some caring and compassionate friends in Hoboken. We recently experienced the passing of our beloved father/brother/uncle/grandfather, Elliot Morales, 85 years old and a long time resident of Hoboken. During this difficult time we were supported by friends and family. However, there are a few people that went above and beyond of what was expected to be helpful and supportive.
We’d like to thank John McKnight of Failla-McKnight Memorial Home for being such a compassionate and thoughtful director of services. He’s always been a friend when needed most. We’d also like to thank Chief Kenny Ferrante, and the Motormen of the Hoboken Police Department for extending the courtesy of a police escort for our funeral procession. This escort was perfectly executed with precision and professionalism. These contributions made our sad day a little easier to manage.
Returning to Hoboken and being treated with such warmth makes me proud to call Hoboken my/our home town.
The Morales Family
