Jersey City rockers Rye Coalition play Maxwell's with King of Birds and Higgins, 9:30 p.m., $8. P.J. Ryan's has the Detonators. One-man classic-rock act Greg Aulden performs at the Baja in Jersey City starting at 6 p.m.

Saturday, August 7:

Billionaire Boys Club, the pop-rockers from Jersey City, play Maxwell's with Orion, 10 p.m., $7. Amandla, featuring Claude from WEEN, plays the Whiskey Bar. P.J. Ryan's has Chaz DePaolo.



Sunday, August 8:

Jersey bands Sleep Station and Jett Brando play Maxwell's with Interference and Denver in Dallas, & p.m., $7. P.J. Ryan's has karaoke. It's open-mic night at Oddfellows Rest in Hoboken, hosted by Michael and Michelle, 8 p.m.

Monday, August 9:

Swingadelic is back at Maxwell's for a free show, 9 p.m. Rodeo-Ristra has music by Dujuana at its Welcomed Words poetry open-mic night, 8 p.m. It's happy hour all night at Oddfellows in Hoboken and Jersey City.

Tuesday, August 10:

Rodeo-Ristra's ArtKore open-mic night features music by Chickenstand Throwdown. It's Ski Club Night at Willie McBride's, starting at 7 p.m. Oddfellows in Jersey City has karaoke starting at 9 p.m., fueled by an all-night beer special.

Wednesday, August 11:

Maxwell's has Maybe Pete, a Northern Jersey band that's popular in Asbury Park, 9 p.m., $6. Rodeo-Ristra's Metamorphic Original Music Series features Bonbomb. The Green Rock has Brett Russo.
