What better way to spend a summer day than a cruise on the Hudson River?

The Hudson County 2018 senior resident cruise, sponsored by Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise and the Board of Freeholders took place on Wednesday, July 18 in perfect weather. Residents of Weehawken and Hoboken were also treated to a buffet luncheon from 12 to 2 p.m.

A DJ provided music for dancing. There was plenty of food on the Spirit of New York, which embarked from Weehawken and sailed past the Statue of Liberty.

The photos were taken by resident Robert de Zeeuw. Do you have a great photo from around town? Email editorial@hudsonreporter.com, attach the photo as a .jpg, and always put your town in the subject head. Please only send up to two photos at a time.
