We had such an amazing turn out at this year’s Festival and are so happy with the way the community came together to enjoy a wonderful day of food, entertainment, games, rides and music!
We had an estimated 6,500 people on the Waterfront. With beautiful weather and a stellar lineup of musical performances, it was certain to be a great day in Weehawken. From Elvis to Alexander Hamilton, the festival was full of talent and entertainment. The Children’s Area was a lot of fun with visits from clowns, stilt walkers, princesses and superheroes; along with singing, dancing, and multi-talented shows, it drew quite the crowd! It was certainly fun to see all the little ones running around with their faces painted and enjoying themselves.
We could not be more thrilled with the turnout and the dedication of the community to making the event unforgettable. Additionally, to all of those who volunteered their time, their energy, and their muscles to setting up, tearing down, and making sure the event ran smoothly, we are so grateful! Be sure to check out our Facebook page and website to see photos from the event. Thank you, Weehawken, for supporting and attending Weehawken Day!
We welcome your shared comments and photos so that we can make next year’s festival even better. Please email them to the Recreation Department at email@example.com.
Weehawken Day is, once again, an annual tradition. Whether this was your first time or 20th time, we hope you will join us again in 2018!
