A funeral mass was offered Jan. 22 at Sts. Joseph and Michael Church for Ernestine (Tini) Yandolino (Parachini), 84. She passed away Jan. 14. The daughter of the late Mary (Sonzogni) and Guadenzio Parachini, Ernestine was the youngest of three daughters. She graduated from Emerson High School in 1948. In 1951, Tini married E. Philip Yandolino and they had two sons, Douglas Philip Yandolino, and Philip Steven Yandolino. She worked as a secretary for Mayor Bill Musto and as a bookkeeper for Mercury International. In 1998 she was voted in as commissioner of the Dept. of Public Works of Union City. In the last 18 years she enjoyed traveling all over the world and visiting her son, Philip, in Ohio, with her partner, companion, and best friend, Charles Dal Lago. Tini enjoyed her life with the many friends she had and loved to entertain them.

Ernestine was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, E. Philip Yandolino and her son, Douglas P. Yandolino and her sister, Judith R. Olivieri. She is survived by her son, Philip S. Yandolino; daughter in-law, Ronalee; and grandchildren, Josefine and Jordan; as well as sister, Dolores Parkinson; and many nieces, cousins and extended family and friends. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
