Dear Editor:

To Mrs. Castellano:

It is with gratitude that we express our appreciation for the use of the storefront space on Washington Street. Your kindness in sharing this resource will long be remembered, and we thank you for your trust in us. Your commitment to the community is shown by such actions, and has made the vision of a community art gallery attainable.

The idea of a gallery is alive and well. The gallery’s foundation made possible by your assistance has generated a great community outreach and enabled us to continue to find space for local artists for display. The gallery encouraged and motivated by your generosity continues to grow throughout the area.

Your achievements as a businesswoman and public leader have improved our community and been an undeniable asset for the city of Hoboken.

On behalf of Rotating Galleries, our treasured artists, and the Hoboken community, we thank you.

Warmest regards,

James R. Stephenson

Castellano may be kind and generous with her business, but she has been an obstacle to progress politically. Her opponent Eric Kurta has been fighting for open government, open space, and anti-corruption for 20 years.

She was originally recruited as a compliant vote by her cousin Anthony Russo (later convicted of corruption) and she was overheard by reliable witnesses stating that everyone took meetings with developers offering cash for favors (cousin Mike Russo was recently on tape offering to take money for favors)

She also doesn't seem to follow the bigger picture for instance she opposed two recent measures to increase & improve parking (muni-meters and corner cars)
