HOBOKEN – Don’t worry, Hoboken. Pier C Park won’t be closed for long.

Final preparation and construction work on the playground area for Pier C Park was scheduled to begin on May 7, and is expected to last one week, according to a press release. The entire park will be closed during construction because of safety concerns.

The playground area has been closed despite the rest of the park being open since November.

After the weeklong construction, the entire park will be completely opened, according to a press release.
