Dear Editor:

On Saturday, June 16 at DeBaun Auditorium of Stevens Institute, my wife Pat and I had the pleasure of seeing "7th Inning Stretch" presented by the One Square Mile Theatre company of Hoboken. The presentation consisted of seven delightful 10-minute plays about baseball that showed the depth, quality and dedication of this professional group that has made Hoboken its home.

Those who have missed the delights of this company in the past may do so this summer as the company presents Shakespeare in the River: The bard's comedy, "A Midsummer's Night Dream." Even better: The company is incorporating the music of Frank Sinatra into the ever adaptable Shakespeare.

You can see this production One Square Mile Theatre free of charge as part of Hoboken's summer entertainment programs, on July 18, 20, 21, 22, 25, 28, and 29 at 8 p.m. at the Sinatra Park on the city's waterfront. You can expect quality performances from real pros in an ideal summer setting.
