Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 11th. I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of this special occasion.
Our mothers and grandmothers play such a vital role in shaping the lives of each of us by giving us guidance, helping to educate us and filling our world with love. It is largely through their many heartfelt efforts, on a daily basis and over a period of years,
that we as responsible individuals join together to have and become the kind of community, city and even a nation, that we can be proud to pass on to future
generations.
Mothers work and sacrifice and encourage and never seem to get enough credit for all that they do. I urge everyone to take the time this Sunday to honor the mothers in their lives and to do a little something extra for them. And to all the mothers who
read this - Happy Mother's Day - you deserve to enjoy a very special holiday.
