The Jewish Week has an article about how two of the three frontrunners in the Hoboken mayor's race are members of the United Synagogue in Hoboken. Definitely a change from the past, when most Hoboken candidates were Italian, Irish, or Irish/Italian. (The Jewish vote still isn't exactly a big bloc in Hoboken.)
