-The town of In Secaucus is setting up a task force after nine people committed suicide there since 2009, a rate higher than the state average. Three of these were just last month. Read about it in this weekend's Secaucus Reporter.

In Hoboken, a property owner painted over a historic "ghost sign" near Washington Street and was preparing to put up a beer ad instead, but was ordered to stop the work. Now the old sign is being painted right back up where it was before.
