HOBOKEN - It appears that some Hoboken City Council candidates for the May 10 election were able to keep their desire to run for office relatively quiet before the filing deadline on Monday, March 14 at 4 p.m.
City Clerk James Farina shut and locked the door of the clerk's office on Monday afternoon at 4 p.m. to announce that the filing deadline has passed, and then distributed the names of municipal candidates who filed for council.
