NORTH BERGEN – A North Bergen Health Department employee has been suspended due to a pending investigation, according to a City Hall spokesman. She has worked with the Health Department for 14 years and was suspended on Aug. 6. Her salary was nearly $41,500.
"[The employee] has been suspended from her position with the North Bergen Health Department as a result of an internal investigation conducted by the North Bergen Police Department,” said Town Spokesperson Phil Swibinski. “The investigation is ongoing and we have no further comment at this time."
