Tragedy has struck the hearts and homes of us all - We never imagined we'd see so many [too many] fall.

Yet on that day now burned in our hearts - All those morning good-byes became their final departs.

Gutless cowards came and devastated our lives - Taking from us mothers, fathers, siblings, husbands and wives.

Now we stand with tear filled eyes and mouths agape - Wondering, waiting, praying will anymore victims escape.

And as minutes become hours and hours become days - Our nations heroes continue to search with love -- not looking for praise.

But it is our heartfelt praise we give unto them - For it is from their love our nations rebirth will stem.

And although no amount of time will ever erase our pain - The outpouring of love and support is rendering AMERICA - A NATION ONCE AGAIN.
