I would like to take this opportunity to thank the voters in Union City for participating in the November 2nd general election as reflected in the high volume of ballots cast. Regardless of whom you voted for, I thank you for participating in the voting process. It is a process that makes us unique in the world as it allows us to exercise our democracy and freedom.
Most importantly, almost 10,000 residents voted "No" on the ballot question #1. This was a tremendous vote considering it was a question and not a candidate. Thank you for the confidence you have placed in our current Board of Education, in the Commissioners and me.
We promise to continue to do a good job for you and the children of Union City. As always, I am here to serve you seven days a week. Once again, thank you for your support and the honor you have given me to serve as your Mayor!
