Dear Editor:

In the upcoming Board of Education election, there is no better candidate than Felicia Rubino-Drasheff.

Felicia's two daughters attend Wallace Primary School, and she has given countless hours over the past five years as the president of the Parent-Teacher Team. She volunteers to sit on the School Leadership Committee, and she worked diligently to reform the district's Saturday University gifted and talented program.

Felicia attends Board of Education meetings and speaks up on the behalf of the silent majority of parents who are proud to send their children to Hoboken public schools but know there is so much more work to be done.

One thing I know for sure, Felicia is not interested in playing politics. She volunteers her time because she has high standards for her daughters' education and for all the children of Hoboken. She is smart, hardworking and unafraid to stand up for what's right.

So much of the good news you have heard about Wallace is thanks to Felicia's dedication. I think she deserves the opportunity to show what she can do for the entire school district. Vote 7A on April 17.

Sincerely,
Edward Madigan
