I am writing to ask for the support of all 4th Ward residents on Tuesday, June 12. This election is key for the future of our neighborhood.
If business as usual is allowed to continue, between 2,000 and 2,500 new residents will be added to the area without the traffic controls, flood protection, park space or affordable housing we need. Whether you are born and raised, from the Housing Authority, or a newcomer, this unchecked level of development makes us all feel alienated.
As your Councilwoman, I will push the City to use the power of redevelopment to create a neighborhood that permits developers to make a fair profit, but that prioritizes the needs of the 4th Ward.
My campaign is funded by people who care about the future of Hoboken with no business ties to development. This means I will answer only to the voters, and I will fight every day to improve our community and our City.
Please be sure to vote on Tuesday, June 12 for Ballot Position 1B. The future of our neighborhood will be decided by your vote.
